The Alcologic Cellpro uses a Fuel Cell sensor, similar to that of the official Gardai breathalyzer - at a price affordable to the everyday consumer or businesses/clinics on a very low budget. The device is simple enough for anyone to use retaining the simple operation of the Alcologic Personal Breathalyzer but benefits from the superior characteristics of the fuel cell sensor. Fuel cell sensors are longer lasting, are more accurate, and are alcohol specific (unlike semi conductor sensors that can react to other substances). To our knowledge this is the lowest cost Fuel Cell breathalyzer available with other models traditionally costing in excess of €500. The Cellpro also has features such as a rechargeable battery and automatic breath monitoring making it unbeatable value in comparison to other breathalyzers in its class.

Fuel Cell sensor – similar to that used by the Gardai

The Alcologic CellPro uses state of the art fuel cell technology used by the Gardai and police forces through the world. Fuel Cell sensors are also alcohol specific where as semiconductor sensors can be affected by other substances other than alcohol and even bad breath. We can say categorically that FuelCell sensors are vastly superior to semiconductor sensors and normally this is reflected in the price, to our knowledge Alcologic Cellpro is the lowest cost fuel cell breathalyzer available not just in Ireland but worldwide.

Automatic Airflow detect technology:

The Alcologic Cellpro has built in air flow detection technology. If the test subject blows too lightly such that the reading may be under estimated the CellPro gives an error warning and prompt a retest. The technology is similar to that of police force breathalyzers where users attempt to cheat the test by blowing too lightly.

Long life Rechargeable lithium Polymer battery with multiple charge options.

An enhanced extra rarely found in breathalyzers at this all the Alcologic Cellpro uses Lithium Polymer battery to make your life easier. Buying batteries is not necessary as the CellPro is rechargeable through your laptop or PC, AC adaptor or even cigarette lighter.
